In 2018, ISSLS launched a fundraising campaign with the goal of raising US$1 Million over two years. Our aim is to provide seed research funding and travel grants to research trainees, young investigators and researchers from areas of the world under-represented in ISSLS.

Inspired by the high caliber of applications in the 2018 inaugural ISSLS research grant competition, the Executive Committee in Banff established the ISSLS Finance Committee.

The Committee believes that it is important to raise money independently, thus avoiding complete reliance on the corporate world, while supporting innovative research and young researchers.

Would you consider making a donation to our Campaign? Any donation is appreciated. There is no minimum amount.

Donors will also be recognised on our Donor Acknowledgement Page (you may remain anonymous if you prefer).

Please click on this link if you’d like to Make a Donation to help us reach our goal. You can choose either lump-sum or annual instalments. For larger donations, please contact Fiona ([javascript protected email address]) or Katarina ([javascript protected email address]) in the ISSLS Office.

We’ve undertaken extensive investigation into the possibility of offering tax exemptions to donors. However, as ISSLS is an international organization, there are many financial and organizational obstacles in our way. Therefore, we are unable to offer tax exemptions to donors from any country at this stage.
